Section 15 of The Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988:

Punishment for attempt.

Punishment for attempt.—Whoever attempts to commit an offence referred to in clause (c) or clause (d) of sub-section
(1) of section 13 shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and with fine.
